362.5 CID Max, Weight 2400, 8 inch spoiler

 

Block:

OEM cast steel block or after market steel block, all components must remain in stock location. No raised or oversized cam journals. No over-sized lifters (.842). Max bore 4.070 (.005 tolerance) with 3.48 stroke or 4.060 (.005 tolerance with 3.50 stroke.

 

Crank:

Cranks must be minimum of 50lbs. After market cranks allowed, 1/2lb. variance will be allowed, crank will be weighed with gear and keyway. Balancing ok. Drill hole or weld or install Malory metal. Oil holes may be race chamfered. No other machine work allowed

 

Piston:

Flat top only, no radius deck pistons, zero deck max.

 

Rods:

Steel rods only. No titanium or aluminum. Floating wrist pins allowed.

 

Oiling Systems:

Dry sump must add 50 lbs.
No vacuum pumps

 

Intake Manifold:
Instake must be cast aluminum
Porting or polishing allowed
Two-piece manifolds not allowed
No modifications except for auxiliary water lines

 

Heads:

STEEL ONLY
Heads must be 23 deg.
All heads must remain as cast
Angle milling allowed not to exceed 1 deg.
Angle plugs allowed stock location
Steel valves only. No titanium or other materials
Hollow stem valves allowed
Under cut stems allowed
Max valve size 2.02 int./1.600 each
Must remain 11/32 stem diam.
CC limit on intake runner 205 maximum. No cc limit on combustion chamber
No porting, no polishing, grinding or excessive deburring in any breathing area
No shot peening or porting
Heads may be deburred or outside areas only
Valve spring pockets may be machined
Racing multi-angle valve jobs permitted machine cut only, no hand blending allowed

One 4 barrel carb GAS ONLY, no dominators

TIRE RULE:
Both rear tires must punch 58 before qualifying and feature race. No tolerance. If you punch less than 58 before qualifying, you will only have 1 lap to qualify.
No front tire rule.
Tires may be checked for chemical soaking.
Random samples may be taken and sent to a lab for testing. If samples are collected, winnings will be held until the test results come back from the lab. If lab results prove tires to be illegal, you will be D.Q. There will be a $300 fine before you race again at the Tazewell Speedway.

Distributor:
Any ignition

No magnetos

No traction control in any engine combination

Electronic boxes may be bought for $300

TIRES:
No tire rule for Engine C
 
 
General Rules
1. Tires must have all numbers and name on the tire. No grinding off numbers or names. Anytime this is altered, will be illegal.
 
2. Engine set back will be 6 inches from center of top ball joint to the most forward spark plug..
 
3. Track reserves the right to delete, change, or amend rules in the interest of competition.
 

4. Any gasoline will be allowed. No Alcohol.
