Buddy Rogers Memorial this Sunday, September 4th

The 8th annual Buddy Rogers Memorial 44 is this Sunday, September 4 at Tazewell Speedway. The $4,400 to win event is sanctioned by the Southern Nationals Bonus Series.

Donald McIntosh leads the series point standings heading into the Tazewell Speedway event. He holds a slight lead over David Payne and Ryan King. Other drivers expected to compete in this year’s event are defending race winner Chad Ogle, Vic Hill, Billy Ogle Jr., Tommy Bailey, Jordan Horton, Jeff Wolfenbarger, Steve Smith, and more.

Also racing will be sportsman for $1,000 to win, open wheels for $800 to win, super street for $600 to win, and classics for $350 to win.

Pit gates will open at 4:00 and grandstand gates will open at 5:00. The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 7:00 and hot laps slated to begin at 7:30.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.

Tazewell Speedway is located just two miles northwest of Tazewell, Tennessee. Going north on US 25-E, turn right and then left onto Bacchus Rd, and then 1.8 miles north, then .8 miles west and the race track is located on the left.
