MODIFIED STREET
WEIGHT: 3000 lbs anytime. Tazewell Modifed Street and 411 Street Stock legal motor 2900 anytime. There will be no burnoff. If there is an excessive amount of cautions the weight will be adjusted. Everyone will be told over the raceceiver before anyone crosses the scales at the discretion of the Race Director. ENGINE: Open motor, no aluminun heads or block, no dry sump. BODIES: Must be street type cars, no clip cars, alum bodies ok must be "stock appearing" Track approval. Call before you Haul. No wedge bodies. Rear must be enclosed. WHEEELS AND TIRES: 10 inch wheels max. Any tire. SUSPENSIONS: Racing springs and shocks allowed, can be relocated. Coil overs allowed, stock type rear suspension, 3 or 4 link, can have heim and tube trailing arms, leaf spring cars can have sliders. No quick change rear ends. 9 inch floaters ok. Bert and Brinn type transmissions allowed. FUEL: Gas only. 8 inch spoiler max. Late Model type side braces allowed. Three spolier braces are allowed 8" high, 18 1/2" long maximum. NON ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS ONLY. $150 CLAIM PER SHOCK. Working Raceceivers Mandatory. NO EXCEPTIONS. RULES:

ENGINE A
362.5 CID Max, Weight 2300, 8 inch spoiler

Block:
OEM cast steel block or after market steel block, all components must remain in stock location. No raised or oversized cam journals. No oversized lifters (.842) Max bore 4.070 (.005 tolerance) with 3.48 stroke or 4.060 (.005 tolerance) with 3.50 stroke.

Crank: Base weight 2300
Cranks must be minimum of 50lbs. Aftermarket cranks allowed, ½ lb. Variance will be allowed, crank will be weighed with gear and keyway. Balancing ok. Drill hole or weld or install Malory metal. Oil holes may be race chamfered. No other machine work allowed.
Cranks less than 50lbs must add 50lbs.

Piston:
Flat top only, no radius deck pistons, zero deck max.

Rods:
Steel rods only. No titanium or aluminum. Floating wrist pins allowed.

Oiling Systems:
No vacuum pumps

Intake Manifold:
Any 4 Barrell Intake
Porting or Polishing Allowed
No sheet metal intake


Heads:
STEEL ONLY
Heads must be 23 deg.
All heads must remain as cast
Angle milling allowed allowed not to exceed 1 deg.
Angle plugs allowed stock location
Steel valves only. No titanium or other materials
Hollow stem valves allowed
Under cut stems allowed
Max valve size 2.02 int./1.600 each
Must remain 11/32 stem diam.
CC limit on intake runner 205 maximum. No cc limit on combustion chamber

Steel 23 degree angle milling allowed not to exceed 2 deg.
No raised runner heads

Crank: 2375 base weight 50 lb crank same as Engine A Rule
Light crank less than 49 ½ must add 50 lbs. Raised runners add 50 lbs.

Rods: Any steel rod (No titanium or Aluminum)

Pistons: Flat top only. No radius deck pistons zero deck max

Intake: Any

Valves: Intake max 2.055 exhaust max 1.600 must remain 11/32 stem diam.

Crank: 2375lbs base weight same as ENGINE A 50lb.
Light crank add 50lbs. Add 50 lbs for raised runners.

Rods: Any steel rod. No titanium or aluminum floating wrist pins allowed

Piston: Flat top only. No radius deck pistons, zero deck max

Intake: Any

Valves: Intake max 2.055 exhaust max 1.600 must remain 11/32 stem diam.

Ignition: Any
No traction control in any combination
Electronic boxes may be bought for $300

CRATE ENGINES: 604: 2200 LBS. OPEN TIRE. CHOICE OF EITHER/OR 12 INCH SPOILER, 12 X32 SIDEBOARD BUT NOT BOTH. 602: 2100 LBS. OPEN TIRE. 12 INCH SPOILER. 12 X 32 SIDEBOARD.


PROTEST:TRACK RULES APPLY. VISUAL PROTEST $75. TRACK TO RETAIN $25 PROTEST FEE


Tire Rule:
Hoosiers 1600, 1600 White Dot, and Crate 55. All Hoosiers must be shoulder plated.

American Racer 56 and 56W only.

All numbers must remain on the tires and visable on the outside of the tire. No grinding of the numbers on the tire.

58 Punch rule will still be in effect. Rear tires only.

If you punch less than 58 before qualifying, you will only have 1 lap to qualify.

No front tire rule

Tires will be checked for chemical soaking

Random samples will be taken and sent to a lab for testing. If samples are collected, winnings will be held until the test results come back from the lab. If lab results prove tires to be illegal, you will be Dq.'D .
