Dakotah Knuckles of Ewing, VA flexed his muscles in leading every lap of the Limited Late Model feature Saturday night for his first win of the season. Thirteen drivers from around the region signed in with Jason Trammell of Knoxville setting quick time in qualifying with a lap of 11.736 seconds, the only diver to turn in a sub twelve second lap. Knuckles and Chris Barton of Middlesboro, KY would turn in the second and third quickest times.

After the invert draw Barton and Knuckles would start on the front row of the thirty lap feature. Using the top side to his advantage Knuckles would storm into the lead after the field took the green flag. Behind him Barton was left to fend off Trammell, Brian Shockley and Anthony Arnwine. Several cautions would plague the early laps of the event. On lap seven Trammell would duck low to take the second spot away from Barton and look for a way to reel in Knuckles. Three circuits later Shockley would slip by Barton to take over third.

As the laps wore on Knuckles would find the lines in the turns that allowed him to distance himself from the field to earn his first win of the season in the Timberline Barns, Hill’s Truck Repair, Hickory Star Marina, Marcum Oil, Dr. Brent Pursifull, Jovida Enterprises Pat Howerton Roofing, Florida Veterinarian, Liberty Sport & Pawn, JKL Trucking, C&C Landscaping, High Velocity Heads, Vic Hill Racing Engine powered Brucebilt Performance Rocket Chassis.
