The Southeast Dirt Modiified Series will visit Tazewell Speedway for the first time on Friday, August 19 for the Bobby Treece Memorial. Friday’s winner will receive $2,000.

Some of the region’s top open wheel modified drivers will take to Tazewell’s high banks, including former NASCAR driver David Stremme. Local favorites will be on hand as well.

Also racing on Friday will be sportsman for $800 to win, super stocks for $600 to win, and classic cars for $300 to win.

Pit gates will open at 4:00 and grandstand gates will open at 5:00. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 7:00 with hot laps starting at 7:30.

Adult general admission tickets are $15. Kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for adults.
