World of Outlaws invade on Friday, June 2

The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series invades Tazewell Speedway on Friday, June 2 for the Ray Varner Ford 50 paying $10,000 to the winner.

Brandon Sheppard heads into Tazewell Speedway leading the series point standings. Former Tazewell Speedway winner Chris Madden is second in points followed by Tyler Erb, who will be making his first trip to Tazewell Speedway. Rick Eckert, Shane Clanton, Devin Moran, Eric Wells, Brian Shirley, Chub Frank, Morgan Bagley, Frank Heckenast Jr, Joey Coulter, and Donald Bradsher are all series regulars expected to be at Tazewell Speedway on Friday, June 2.

Other national and regional stars such as Jimmy Owens, Vic Hill, Billy Ogle Jr., Steve Smith, Chad Ogle, and more are expected to be at Tazewell for the WoOLMS event.

Also on the racing program for June 2 will be the sportsman for $800 to win, super streets for $800 to win, four cylinders for $500 to win, and classic cars for $500 to win. All other Tazewell Speedway classes will have the night off.

Pit gates open at 2:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. The driver’s meeting is set for 7:00 and racing will begin at 7:45. General admission tickets are $25 for adults, kids 9 and under are free with a paying adult. Pit passes are $40 for adults, kids 12 and under are $30 with a signed minor’s release.
