Buddy Rogers Memorial up next on Sunday, September 1

The Buddy Rogers Memorial is the next race at Tazewell Speedway on Sunday, September 1. This year’s race is sanctioned by the Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals and will pay $5,044 to the winner.

After the first two events of the Fall Nationals, Donald McIntosh leads the series point standings over David Payne, Pierce McCarter, Brandon Kinzer, and Austin Smith. Some of the expected drivers include Vic Hill, Dakotah Knuckles, Jeff Wolfenbarger, Michael Chilton, and more.

Also racing will be the Brucebilt Iron Man Modified Series for $1,000 to win, sportsman for $800 to win, classic cars for $500 to win, and street stocks for $500 to win.

Pit gates will open at 4:00 and the grandstand gates will open at 5:00. The driver’s meeting is set for 7:00 with hot laps beginning at 7:30.

Grandstand tickets are $20 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $35, kids 14 and under are $15 with a signed release.
