2017 schedule released

The 2017 schedule for Tazewell Speedway. There is plenty of action in the new schedule.

An open practice is scheduled for Saturday, March 25. This will give teams a chance to try out the new racing surface.

The season officially gets under way on Saturday, April 1 with the annual Charles Trammell Memorial, a $2,000 to win race for the limited late models.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is a little earlier in the schedule for 2017. The Toyota of Knoxville 50 is slated for Friday, May 5.

The Southeast Modified Series will visit on May 27 on Memorial Day Weekend.

The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series returns on Friday, June 2. The Ray Varner Ford 50 is a $10,000 to win race.

The Southern Nationals Bonus Series will make two visits to Tazewell Speedway. The first is on Saturday, July 1. The second is on Sunday, September 3 for the Buddy Rogers Memorial.

Once again, Tazewell Speedway will play host to the final race of the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals on Saturday, July 29 for a $10,000 to win race.
