Charles Trammell Memorial kicks off 2017 season April 1st

The 2017 season at Tazewell Speedway gets underway on Saturday, April 1 with the 8th annual Charles Trammell Memorial. The $2,000 to win limited late model race should kick off the season with plenty of excitement. Jason Trammell is the defending race winner and will be looking to make it three in a row in the race named after his grandfather.

Also racing will be sportsman for $700 to win, super stocks for $700 to win, classic cars, and four cylinders.

Pit gates open at 4:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 7:15 followed by hot laps and racing.

General admission tickets are $15 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit admission is $30 for adults.
