2018 schedule released

The 2018 schedule of events for Tazewell Speedway has been released. Once again, the schedule is loaded with a variety of events throughout the season.

The season kicks off with the 9th annual Charles Trammell Memorial, a $2,000 to win race for the limited late models. New to the schedule is the Schaeffer's Spring Nationals on April 7. That race will be a $10,000 to win race.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returns on Friday, May 4 for the Toyota of Knoxville/Secret City Dodge-Jeep/Ted Russell Ford 50 that pays $12,000 to the winner.

Tazewell Speedway will once again be the host of the final race of the Schaeffer's Southern Nationals on July 28 for $10,000 to win race.

Other special events are the Southern Nationals Bonus Series and Iron-Man Late Models co-sanctioned event on Tuesday, July 3. Both of those series return on Sunday, September 2 for the 10th annual Buddy Rogers Memorial 44. The Fall Brawl caps off the season on October 13.

There will be other specials throughout the season that include Coca-Cola Family Night and Kids' Night.

Tazewell Speedway would like to thank Chris & Leslie Corum for managing the track during the 2017 season while Gary Hall recovered from back surgery. We really appreciate their efforts and hard work. It certainly was a job well done!
