UCRA returns Sunday, May 27

The United Crate Racing Association returns to Tazewell Speedway on Sunday, May 27 for a 50-lap, $3,000 to win race. Some of the region's top crate late model racers will tackle Tazewell's high banks in what should be an exciting race.

Also racing on May 27 will be sportsman late models for $800 to win, modified streets for $600 to win, and classic and four cylinders for $400 to win each. There will also be a huge fireworks show.

Pit gates open at 4:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. The driver's meeting is set for 7:15. Hot laps will start around 7:45.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, kids 9 and under are free, Pit passes are $30. Anyone with a ticket stub or armband from Saturday the 19th may use it on May 27 plus pay the difference.
