Payne scores Buddy Rogers Memorial win

David Payne scored a win in the Buddy Rogers Memorial on Sunday night. Vic Hill and Casey Roberts started on the front row with Roberts taking the early lead. Payne took second from Hill on a lap 7 restart. Roberts looked to be on his way to the win until he caught a piece of a spinning Chicky Barton on lap 40. Roberts cut the right rear tire on his machine, derailing his chance for victory. Payne inherited the lead and cruised over the final 4 laps to secure the win. Hill held off Dakotah Knuckles for second.

Shon Flanary led flag-to-flag in the Brucebilt Iron Man Modified race.
