Iron Man Late Models highlight Firecracker 40 July 3

Tazewell Speedway gets back into action this Wednesday night, July 3 when the Schaeffer's Iron Man Late Models visit as part of the Firecracker 40. The $5,000 to win race will see some of the area's top dirt late model drivers will battle for 40 laps.

Also racing will be the sportsman for $1,000 to win, modified street for $700 to win, classic cars, four cylinders, and street stocks for $500 to win each. Plus, there will be a fireworks show at intermission.

Pit gates will open at 4:00. The grandstand gates will open at 5:00. The driver's meeting is scheduled for 7:15. Hot laps and racing action will get under way starting at 7:45.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.
