McDowell passes 10 cars in Iron-Man feature at Tazewell Speedway

On Saturday evening Dale McDowell visited Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tenn.) for the event co-sanctioned by the Schaeffer’s Iron-Man Late Model Series and the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals. Drawing 29 cars for the Toyota Knoxville 50, McDowell suffered a flat-tire while running in a transfer spot in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Coming in third, Dale locked into the 19th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Dale McDowell passed 10 cars to place ninth.
