Iron Man Championship Series up next Friday, July 3

The Schaefeer's Iron Man Championship Series is the next event at Tazewell Speedway on Friday, July 3. Some of the region's best super late model drivers will be on hand competing for the $5,000 first place prize.

Also racing on July 3 will be the sportsman late models for $1,000 to win, modified streets, classic cars, and street stocks all for $500 to win race.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.

All gates open at 5:00. The driver's meeting is scheduled for 7:00 with hot laps starting around 7:45. There will be a fireworks display during intermission.

There will be no personal ATV vehicles allowed in the pit area which includes 4-wheelers, side-by-sides, or golf carts. No personal vehicles allowed in the pits except for those going to handicap parking.

Come out this Friday night for some great racing, fireworks, and fun.
