Sixth-place finish in season opener at Tazewell

Making his first start of the 2021 season aboard his Rocket XR1 Chassis No. 56 Late Model, Jonathan Rowan invaded Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the Firecracker 40. Drawing 18 Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series entries, Jonathan secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth fastest time in his group. Rolling off seventh, Rowan clawed forward one spot in the 40-lap affair to register a sixth-place finish.
