Michael Chilton cashes in for Southern Nationals win
Michael Chilton took the lead over pole sitter Ross Bailes and never looked back in winning Saturday's Schaeffer's Southern Nationals race before a huge crowd. Chilton was unchallenged through most of the 53 laps while Bailes, Dale McDowell, and Zack Mitchell battled it out for second on back. Chilton claimed the win. Donald McIntosh finished 5th to secure the Schaeffer's Southern Nationals title. Odie Overholt, Josh Chesney, Tony Trent, and Chuck McMahan were the other winners.
