Dale McDowell cruises to Lil' Bill Corum Memorial win

Dale McDowell cruised to victory in the Lil' Bill Corum Memorial win on Monday night. McDowell set fast time and won his heat race the start the 75-lap race from the pole. Ricky Weiss joined McDowell on the front row. Weiss and Jimmy Owens traded second place back-and-forth. Neither driver could mount a serious challenge on McDowell. Owens held on to second while Weiss held off Donald McIntosh for fourth. Crossville's Brandon Williams finished fifth.

Jody Horton picked up and another win in the sportsman feature over Odie Overholt. And Mac Lockhart survived the mayhem to win the classic car feature.

The next race at Tazewell Speedway will be on Saturday, July 8 with a full racing program.
