Southern Nationals finale rescheduled for July 30

Saturday's Schaeffer's Southern Nationals finale has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 30. With rain and thunderstorms in the area, the decision was made to reschedule the $10,053 to win race for Sunday. Everything from Saturday night is still the same except the driver's meeting will be at 6:00 and hot laps will start at 6:30. Jimmy Owens holds a 6-point lead over Carson Ferguson and a 14-point lead over Donald McIntosh before their worst finish has been dropped. The series championship could come down to the final lap.
