Buddy Rogers Memorial set for Sunday, September 3

The 15th annual Buddy Rogers Memorial is set for Sunday, September 3. The $5,044 to win race is once again sanctioned by the Valvoline Iron Man Late Model Series.

Also racing will be sportsman late models for $800 to win, classic cars and street stocks for $600 to win each, and front wheel drive for $500 to win.

During the intermission Leonard Bray, Wayne Overholt, Tony Horton, and Rick Welch will be inducted into the Tazewell Speedway Hall of Fame. A fireworks show will follow.

Pit gates open at 3:00 and grandstand gates open at 5:00. The drivers meeting will take place at 7:00 with hot laps to follow at 7:30.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $35, kids 12 and under are $25.
