Jim Arnwine Memorial Postponed to March 23

TAZEWELL, Tenn. (03/10/24) - After discussion with officials from the United Championship Racing Alliance, Tazewell Speedway owner Gary Hall has made the decision to move the Jim Arnwine Memorial to Saturday, March 23. The original date of March 16 will now be an open practice for all classes.

The purpose behind moving the season opening event is due to the fact that the track surface needs a full practice session to help pack in the fresh dirt applied over the winter.

The season opening 3rd Annual Jim Arnwine Memorial on Saturday night, March 23, sanctioned by the Casteel Farms United Championship Racing Alliance will pay $3,011 to the winner of the 40 lap Crate Late Model feature. More details, including the other classes racing that night, admission prices and gate times, will be posted in the coming days.

The open practice session for all classes will see the gates open at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 16. The practice will run from 1:00-5:00. Pit admission will be $20. Grandstand admission will be free.
