Saturday’s racing program has been cancelled. Track prep was set to begin on Friday when the grader suffered from mechanical problems.

“It will be Monday before we can get the parts for the grader,” said Gary Hall, Tazewell Speedway owner. “We could race tomorrow. But with all the rain we’ve had this week and not being able to grade the track, it would be rough. We don’t need a rough race track and drivers tearing up their equipment.”

The next race will be Friday, May 4 when the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returns for a $12,000 to win race. Details for that event will be posted in the coming days.
